We travelled from England to Belize in April 2011, as a family of four with children 17 & 15. Belize is not an obvious destination from England but is well worth the effort. The best thing we ever did was to work with Christine and the crew at Orchid Garden Eco Village on a comprehensive package of activities when visiting Belize.

From stepping off the plane you are invited into their world and passion for Belize.

Orchid Garden Eco Village is a beautiful calm place to return to after your daily excursion. All excursions are well thought out and accompanied by staff from the Eco Village The excursions are varied and include enough drama to keep teenagers engrossed, all the local guides were excellent.

The food at the eco village was magnificent, varied to people’s tastes and all guests eat at a single sitting which encouraged everyone to talk. This arrangement greatly enhanced the whole trip to Belize. The bedrooms are large, clean and wonderfully quiet in a lush almost tropical setting with a whole raft of local animal and birdlife at your doorstep.

Christine through partner hotels organised for us short but exciting side trips to Tikal in Guatemala, San Pedro on Ambergris Caye and Placencia in the South.

Overall a memorable holiday for which we are grateful to Christine and the crew for their organizational skills and top notch hospitality.
