9 day adventure tour with Orchid Garden Eco-Village, Belize

Our adventure tour with Orchid Garden Eco-Village far exceeded my expectations and those of my travel companion, which is impressive considering it's a trip I'd been planning for many years. From our first contact with Jason & Christine, owner/operators, when we inquired about their tours, we got excellent service.
Christine, Jason and their staff made our trip to the beautiful and exciting country of Belize truly awesome!! Everyone at Orchid Village was happy, friendly, courteous, extremely considerate and very accommodating. We appreciated everyone sharing their knowledge and experience with us - Belize culture; past & present, environment, economy, geography, politics, education, health care etc. Every tour was well planned and incredible.
The meals were delicious! The accommodations, situated in a lush nature setting, are very comfortable, clean and extremely pleasant. The atmosphere at Orchid Village is informal and homey. It facilitates interaction with other guests and indeed we shared fabulous experiences with our tour mates. The Orchid Village drivers/tour guides were very accommodating and catered to our wants & needs - stopping at gift shops while on tours or taking us to stores for favorite munchies or that excellent Belizian beer. We felt completely safe from the moment their driver/tour guide picked us up at the airport until we were dropped off at the airport nine days later.
Christine is a very gracious hostess with an excellent team of employees. Although our stay was short, we feel we experienced Belize!
Being from Canada, we appreciated the comfortable air conditioned vans and rooms. We did find the end of March/early April, 95 + temperatures, during some of the non-water activities, a tad hot, so a trip a bit earlier in the year may be a good idea for those accustomed to a temperate climate.
I would highly recommend Orchid Garden Eco-Village Tours. I got excellent value for my money!
