As Belize hotels go, the Orchid Garden Eco-Village hotel has a number of specific qualities to recommend it - and please don't just take our word for it, check it out on TripAdvisor! Its reputation for quality cuisine is deservedly high: we have had trained chefs say that they think they have probably found the best food to be had in Belize here, at a price that is modest when measured against comparable offerings in higher priced Belize hotels.
An additional factor important to a significant number of travelers is our willingness to cater well for vegetarians, vegans, fruitarians, raw foodists, and anyone with food intolerances or allergies (such as those who can't bear certain ingredients or who are allergic to products containing nuts or gluten).
We use no chemical additives or preservatives, and our food is organically sourced wherever possible. We make our own yoghurt, granola, bread, tortillas, soya milk, ice-cream and soft-drinks, including lemonade and our signature drink -- hibiscus flower iced tea, made from the petals of flowers picked freshly every day within our grounds.
We specialize in providing great value-for-money Belize Vacation Packages. Our prices include transfer from and to the International Airport, accommodation in our spacious, air-conditioned rooms with two double beds, a fridge with a freezer compartment and an en-suite bathroom, all meals at the Orchid Garden (and lunch on all but one of our tours), access to our nature swimming pool and our recreation room with 120+ channels of cable TV, unlimited high-speed internet access and a small but serviceable library; also our games room, with its pool and table tennis tables. * Ziplining through the rainforest canopy and tubing through a cave branch system at Jaguar Paw + a visit to the unique Belize Zoo for some close encounters with the rescued and rehabilitated wild animals of Belize;
* Cruising the New River from Orange Walk to Lamanai and the Mayan ruins;
* The awesome A.T.M. Underground Exploration to the Tomb of the Crystal Maiden;
* Jungle horseback riding at Banana Bank + swimming at the Inland Blue Hole;
* A 2 or more nights stay on one of the Cayes - either Caye Caulker or San Pedro.
* Snorkeling in Shark/Ray Alley, and also at the Hol Chan Marine Reserve on the barrier reef.
