We were completely spoiled by Christine, Alvero, his daughters, and Alfredo, who looked out for our every need, making sure that they delivered us to our events in a timely way and had our flashlights and umbrellas while walking to our room after dinner. Their recommendations for guides were superb. Could not have asked for better. The meals (food and drinks) were home made and varied. All delicious. Caribbean with a Chinese accent. Loved the very fresh orange juice in the morning. The room was comfortable and well cleaned. The mattresses were moderately firm, just the way we like them. The air conditioning worked fine. Their property is loaded with local plants identified with signs. They raise beautiful banana owl butterflies in a mesh enclosure. Christine sincerely wanted to know how she could help us enjoy our stay, without being pushy. She seemed genuinely sad to see us go. With so much to do and see in Belize, this is a location that is really hard to beat.
