Eco-Village Tour
A Living Harmony between Nature and Culture in Belize
A practical outcome of our “Simple Way to a better World” program.

The tours begin from the ‘Green Building” of Eco-Village: a 5000 square foot multiple function structure used as reception rooms, restaurant, gift-shop and Exhibition Space.

The Green Building is made and decorated with tropical treasures such as the Mayan tree of life, the wood that changed the history of Belize, Belize’s national tree, living posts. grass which is taller and harder than most wood,the biggest variety within one species to be found anywhere in the world; the plant from outer space, the palm which is not a palm, and more “treasures”.

Part two of the tour takes in a Nature Pond, the Eco-Pavilion, Butterfly House, Native Orchids Garden; Birding Courtyard, Savannah bush Nature Trail, Artificial Wetland, Green Iguana Sanctuary and Mom’s Vegetable Farm.

Part three visits the Eco-Museum in the Eco-Village, which contains the following exhibitions: A ‘Belize History in Bottles”; Expressions of Belize in Oil Paintings, and Nature’s Artistry in Stone and Root.

At the end of the tour a delicious meal is waiting for you: Belize Cuisine featuring Organic Flowers Tea, Fresh Fruit Juice, Coconut Milk Rice and Beans and Ricardo Stewed Chicken.
